Due to ongoing globalization and reforms in health professionseducation, the medical dental institutions world over hasadopted ‘student centered’ ‘problem based’ educationalstrategies. In this regard, developing professional competentteachers educators for their new roles responsibilitiesin education allied sciences isrequired. This needs effective faculty development programs(Michelle Mclean et al, 2008).
